Methodology

All data comes straight from the Bittensor chain (Finney mainnet) through the public RPC runtime call SubnetInfoRuntimeApi.get_all_dynamic_info. 24h and 7d comparisons use the same call against the public archive node at block −7,200 and −50,400 (≈12s blocks). Updated daily.

Score (0–100) = 0.30·Momentum + 0.25·Liquidity + 0.30·Emissions + 0.15·Activity, where each factor is the subnet's percentile rank (0–100) among all subnets (root SN0 excluded):

• Momentum: 0.4 × 24h alpha price change + 0.6 × 7d change
• Emissions: subnet share of TAO injected into pools per block
• Liquidity: TAO in the subnet pool
• Activity: 24h traded volume ÷ TAO in pool

Alpha Seeker score (0–100)

Adapted from the playbook of Jeremy's "TAO Alpha seeking" portfolio bot, using on-chain and GitHub data only:

• Emission tier (25): v440 emission-gate rank — Top 8 = 25, #9–30 = 18, cliff #31–40 = 8, deep tail = 2
• Rank climb (10): emission rank vs 7 days ago — up ≥3 = 10, up = 6, flat = 3, down = 0
• Owner conviction lock (20): locked and not unwinding = 20, unwinding (decay ≥1% of lock) = 8, not locked = 0
• Dev activity (15): GitHub commits in 30 days — ≥20 = 15, ≥5 = 10, ≥1 = 6, none / unchecked = 0
• Emissions floor (10): VITALS — ≥0.5% = 10, ≥0.2% = 5
• Age (10): ≥ 2 months = 10
• Liq haircut (10): (TAO in pool ÷ total alpha) vs spot — >−10% = 10, −10 to −30% = 7, −30 to −50% = 4, worse = 0

Screen ✗ = under 2 months old, owner alpha not locked, or 0 commits in 30 days. Owner locks come from on-chain storage SubtensorModule.OwnerLock and DecayingOwnerLock.

Alpha price = TAO in pool ÷ alpha in pool. Market cap = price × (alpha in pool + alpha outstanding), in TAO. The score describes on-chain conditions; it is not a forecast or recommendation.
